At the Third Music Khabar Teej Music Awards-2024 held in the capital on Monday, where Singer Surya Khadka for his song sitaka maiti buddhako desh and Singer Sunita Budha Chhetri for paundina ma chhoribatawere adjudged the best singers.  <o:p></o:p>

In the program, the song called sitaka maiti buddhako desh managed to score a hat-trick. The best model Desh Bijaya Pun and Cinematographer Durga Poudel awarded, Prem Sapkota original Teej song lyricist from kali pasamaki received award, Nabin Gharti Magar, the Video Editor and Smarika Dhakal won the popular music video model award.<o:p></o:p>

Music Composer BP Wagle, Singer Shobha Pandey and Lyricist Dr. Shiv Subedi is the judge of the award. The favorite original Teej song, laibarilai diaspora song, Prem Sapkota as original lyrics, Bishal Chhetri Teej duet song lyrics, Nirmala Rana Magar diaspora lyricist, Bhanubhakta Dhakal's Teej duet song music, Saroj Koirala for Teej song original music, Sambhu Kunwar's Teej Song Original Singer, Janaki Magar's Teej song original Singer, Smriti Timilsina Video Director, Panah Adhikari for Multitalented Model, Ritu Tamang received Medal for Jury Award, Divyani Oli's Teej Song, Newcomer Model, Sarita Magar Shringar, and Krishna KC Teej Song Song Music Coordinator category were the winners for award.<o:p></o:p>

The award program held in 22 different categories was broadcast live by Prism Television. In the program presided over by Sabita Pokhrel, the President of the Award, the Chief Guest, Member of the House of Representatives and Former Minister Padma Kumari Aryal awarded three singers Kunti Muktan, Lilawati Budha and Purnakala BC with Artist of Nepal Triratna Nari Samman. Similarly, two singers Kalika Roka and Tripti Khadka were given Artist of Nepal National Singing Award, Model Tika Jaisi was given Artist of Nepal National Art Award, Lyricist Gayatri Thapa was given Artist of Nepal National Srasta Samman and two journalists Sharda Thapa and Kalpana Regmi were also awarded.
